Government and Conservation

For my Junior theme, I have finally come up with 2 related books and a "why" question. My theme is based around the idea of Wildlife conservation and what laws the bush administration has changed in the past 8 years in office, and why they have chosen to do so. The book I chose, "Hawks Rest" focuses on the first wildlife preserves, and laws made by Theodore Roosevelt, and how current national park are affected by these laws. My only problem is pulling all my information together to write this paper. I have no idea who I am going to interview, and there is so much information in this topic, its going to be difficult to read everything and come up with a strong thesis.

You will get there ;-)
It is a lot of information to digest right now. As to a person/organization that you might want to interview, maybe consider a contact to
the National Park Service http://www.nps.gov/contacts.htm or maybe the Sierra Club http://www.sierraclub.org/contact/

BEFORE you contact either one, though, I'd try to read a bit more, outline issues and questions of interest and maybe even then be able to identify a particular person with one of those groups. Another alternative might be to contact someone locally (Cook County Forest Preserve??).

When you've had a chance to think about this we can talk more. Ms. S
