After our discussion last week about the 9/11 attacks, I have been thinking over and over again about why in the world we were attacked in the first place. Why the twin towers? Why New York? And more importantly, why so much hate? I don't think anyone really knows the exact reason. In class, someone brought up the point that it all depends on viewpoints. According to (most) americans, the people who ordered the attacks were evil human beings with such a hate twoard the USA, that they were willing to kill thousands of innocent humans without a second thought. But according to them, they might be completing some sort of religious deed, and in the name of their God, they are doing good by killing Americans. But that still doesn't make any sense to me. Why would they come here and cause such distruction? Was it jealousy? Were they jealous of our society? Were they mad at our political decisions? Or was it, in fact, just a religous factor? I would love to hear any feedback or ideas from you guys.

I think that your view point on 9/11 is interesting and i've always thought about it in the back of my mind if there was a treu reason someone boarded a plane giving there life for a casue. But i was always too scared to speak my opinion on if the people who boarded the planes had justification to do what they did. I mean i know that i really still don't know what was going on at the time and what was our involvment with Irag and Aphganastan before this war to see how/why they did do this to us. I mean i think the discussion we had in class wasn't the best in answering legitimate questions where he answered one question with an open ended question at the end and then our whole class just started discussing that for the rest of the two periods. And it is sad to think that someone or some group of peopel have so much hate in them to kill around 3,000 innocent people and kill there own self. I mean i really never realized before reading your post and see if i coulkd answer your questions how uneducated i am with this subject and really this whole war thats goign on now.
